Why Like Led Zeppelin so Much?????????????????
Why Like Led Zeppelin so Much?????????????????
Not only are they not overrated, they are so popular that they are underrated... every song is a classic and even the ones that are not as good as some of the others are still better then the gazillion bands that have made a living off of ripping off the Zeppelin. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham played one charity gig last year in London and 20,000,000 (20 MILLION) people crashed the website trying not to purchase tickets, but simply to be entered into a lottery to be eligible to purchase tickets.... They cast a shadow over music that is taller than their souls my friends...1. about hdmi cables for led/lcd tv's?Yes, HDMI's to make a HUGE difference. If you have a bluray palyer, a HDMI cable is a must. For other uses component is passable. But never ever use composite (the yellow one) for an HDTV. - 17R3W2. Light bulb in replace of LED?You can stick it in and try it. But I doubt it will work for you. Incandescent light bulbs work by getting very hot. You either need high voltage or high current, or both, to light a light bulb. LEDs on the other hand, work by driving a specific interaction within the device. An LED usually operates at a low voltage and a low current. Furthermore, LEDs only work at specific voltages and currents, while a light bulb will work at a very broad range of voltages and current. I have no idea what the 308 ohm resistor is in your circuit, but if I had to guess, I would guess that it is a voltage divider to reduce the source voltage to the value required by the LED. If that is the case, removing or replacing the resistor would probably make the light bulb work better. Whether you want to remove or replace would depend on the circuit's configuration. In any case, I would guess that your LED circuit will not be able to light your light bulb no matter what you do.3. who loves led zeppelin????Led Zeppelin are all fine and dandy, but I am a Yardbirds man at heart4. What led Germany to participate in WWII?Hitler started WWII as he believed in superiority of Germans. And wanted to rule the. World5. What led to the establishment of the Angelican Church in England?Henry VIII wanted to divorce his old hag of a wife, and marry a young new one. The pope would not let him. So he made his own church, and had its new leader grant him the divorce he wanted. Peace.6. LED headlight bulbs any good?Led Headlight Bulbs Any Good7. HELP my led's wont work........?There's no reason for the fuse to blow unless you connected the wires in reverse, the positive connection to the negative of the battery and the negative connection to the positive of the battery. When you put in the 25 amp fuse you could have damaged the LED's themselves. I am not sure but I would not think the LED strings would use a fuse that big. Perhaps it was only 2. 5 or 2 1/2 amps, not 25??? With any luck you just burned out the resistor that's in series with the LED's. You will have to check. Open the controller and look for burned components. If the board the resistors are on has been damaged you will probably just have to replace the whole works.8. What led to the downfall of Osho?Downfall in what context?Lord Rama's Kingdom does not exist now, do we call this a downfall?Dwaraka, a kingdom ruled by Lord Krishna, is submerged, and that too does not exists anymore. do we call this a downfall? After the great war of Mahabaratha, there are not even traces of Kingdoms ruled by Pandavas. Do u call this a down fall?...If you say that, no matter their kingdom exists now or not, we still remember and pray them. so, it is not a downfall. And,Baghavad Gita is still being preached. Ramayan is still being chanted across length and breadth of India .In the similar context, the question about Osho is enough of evidence that, Its not a downfall. If you listen to his discourses, or read his works, you will realize that his teachings are as fresh as if they were delivered today. No matter how much human consciousness evolve, they are still relevant, relevant to all ages and all time.Osho - Never Born - Never Died Only visited this planet Earth between December 11, 1931 and January 19, 1990
Would Quarter Horses...?
Would Quarter Horses...?
Quarter horses are typically laid back. I actually learned on quarter horses, they are a very reliable breed. However, like the first post said, older horses are better regardless of breed1. Web site with 4th quarter scoring stats in the NBA?basketball-reference.2. Isn't Paul Pierce extremely clutch in the fourth quarter?Yeah lol he's a really good player, but it's fun to crack jokes about him. I know he's amazing. He can shoot, drive, and do it all. I just enjoy making fun of him (and making all the 12 year old bandwagon Celtics fans start getting mad)3. How mush is a standing liberty quarter worth if its in rough shape? It all depends on its year and condition. Is it silver? The smallest amount that it is worth is 25 cents. 8-)4. How much does a quarter ounce of weed go for?I order ALL my stuff online, I NEVER buy local because the quality is WAY better online and the prices are way cheaper...I typically pay around $89 - $120 an ounce for AAA stuff, $160 for AAAA, but I generally order in larger quantities because its cheaper, eg: I pay approx. $360 - $400 for a quarter pound of AAAA bud5. Ideas for a quarter sleeve?Lastnight I was watching LA ink and the guitarist of Atreyu came in with his new wife and she got a whole sleeve done with fairy tale theme. It had prince Charming leaning in to kiss sleeping beauty which represented them. She also got the castle and some of those Snow White birds and it said "Happily Ever After" in big lettering kind of in the middle blending with everything else. My point is that you said you want it to still be pretty so I thought hers was pretty but also bad A at the same time. If you are set on the bird idea you could try to incorporate a tree that always looks awesome6. What are good things about Quarter Horses?First of all, they are different...very, qaurter horses are great horses they are much more versatile! They come in lots of different sizes and types some people jump them and do dressage with them. Other people barrel race and pole bend them they do a whole bunch of different stuff, TBs are great, but... Good luck reining one!7. How much is my Quarter Horse worth? He sounds like a nice horse. Ca not really tell conformation. He looks like he has good conformation, but he is not lined up where you can judge properly. He looks like a nice mover, nice head, pretty coat. Question though.. Why do you have an English saddle pad, Western saddle, and a show halter with reins attached? I would just get a hackamore or bosal to ride him in, as well as a Western Saddle pad. All in all, I think he's worth $1500-$2000, but the way the economy is and the horse market, some people do not want to pay that much. Hope this helps!8. If 1/3 of the growth in the 3rd quarter is due to Cash for Clunkers, what will happen 4th Quarter? We do not know what kind of scheme they will come up with next but one thing's for sure, we wo not hear about it from jolly gnome Gibbs. I have attached a link to yesterday's white house briefing where he gives his usual non answers about everything. So, to actually answer to your question, with the administration of smoke and mirrors we currently have, one just does not know what the next quarter will reveal. With Christmas just around the corner and, governor's races in New Jersey and Virginia, well, it could get creative, but interesting nonetheless9. Is the French Quarter really that dirty?I have not been to New Orleans in about 8 years...but every time I've went it was not exactly clean. Not like your trekking through gunk up to your ankles or anything. But the ground is sticky and it definately smells like spilled alcohol. I think you would be able to wear any shoes that you would like though. Just be aware of your surroundings10. is the quarter pounder a large regular menu sandwich?all of them except those on the value menu like: cheese burger, hamburger, double cheeseburger. Basically everything that costs over $ 2
Harpur Trust
Harpur Trust
Harpur TrustCoordinates: 520900N 02732W / 52.150N 0.459W / 52.150; -0.459 The Harpur Trust is a charity in Bedford, England. The stated aim of the charity is to help and support the people who live in and around Bedford, and to help them improve their lives by: providing and promoting education offering help and relief to anyone who is sick, in need, in hardship or distress providing recreational facilities with a social welfare purpose for the people of Bedford and its surroundings.Reorganised as a company limited by guarantee in 2012, it was previously called The Bedford Charity (The Harpur Trust) as its legal name, but was most often referred to as the Harpur Trust. The main activities of the charity are the operation of a number of independent schools and one academy in Bedford. The charity also operates a number of almshouses in the Bedford area. In addition, the charity supports the community by giving grants to local projects. In 2009/10 it donated over 1,900,000 in grants to projects based in and around Bedford. This money is intended to help local organisations and individuals to make a difference to their own lives or those of others.— — — — — —United Nations trust territoriesUnited Nations trust territories were the successors of the remaining League of Nations mandates and came into being when the League of Nations ceased to exist in 1946. All of the trust territories were administered through the United Nations Trusteeship Council. The concept is distinct from a territory temporarily and directly governed by the United Nations. The one territory not turned over was South-West Africa, which South Africa insisted remained under the League of Nations Mandate. It eventually gained independence in 1990 as Namibia. The main objection was that the trust territory guidelines required that the lands be prepared for independence and majority rule.— — — — — —The Gefrin TrustIn April 2000 archaeologist Roger Miket returned to north Northumberland after sixteen years living on Skye. While in Sale and Partners, an estate agent in Wooler, the secretary, knowing Roger's interest in the history of the area, informed him of their recent instruction to handle the sale of 'a funny bit of land at Yeavering with a history!' The 'funny bit of land' was, in fact, the site of Ad Gefrin. Northumberland County Council, Northumberland National Park and a number of private bidders all showed an interest in the site but the final successful bidder was Roger. Roger's initial aim was to place the management of the site on an even footing before transferring ownership to an independent charitable trust. It was decided that the trust should be made up from representatives of local government, English Heritage and the academic world with the ability to co-opt other members to address specific needs and issues should they arise. Community involvement was considered very important. From its initial meeting in the spring of 2004 the trust has met every four months to discuss progress, planning and the way forward for the site. Trust members are: Professor Rosemary Cramp (Chairperson) Roger Miket (Secretary) Dr Christopher Burgess (Northumberland County Council) Paul Frodsham (Archaeologist) Tom Johnston (Glendale Gateway Trust) Brian Cosgrove (Education and Media)Co-opted: Kate Wilson (English Heritage) Chris Gerrard (Durham University)Public access to the palace site has been granted. The site has been re-fenced and the stone walls have been repaired. New gates, kissing gates and paths have been installed to improve access, and information panels have been set up. The trust have entered a ten-year partnership agreement with DEFRA and now hold a 999-year lease for the site and all management decisions affecting it. The magnificent goat-head gateposts and other carvings you will see today at the site are the work of local Northumbrian artist Eddie Robb. As well as the goat heads you can find a carving of the head of a Saxon warrior and representations of the 'Bamburgh Beast'. They are very much in the style and spirit of the illustrations done by Brian Hope-Taylor himself in the pages of his book Yeavering, An Anglo-British centre of early Northumbria. The Trust has a website, which gives news and information on the work it is currently undertaking in areas such as geophysical prospecting to identify additional structures at the site, new aerial photographs of the site (including some spectacular LIDAR imagery), and new work on the finds from Hope-Yaylor's excavation, thought lost but recently rediscovered following his death. The television programme made by Brian Hope-Taylor as part of The Lost Centuries series in which he describes the site in its wider context is available on the website for viewing, as well as access to a number of PDF downloads on publications about the site, including Brian Hope-Taylor's full excavation report, Yeavering; an Anglo-British Centre of Early Northumbria (1977; available through the kindness of English Heritage), a guide to a recent exhibition on new work undertaken by the Trust, as well as other specialist articles on aspects of the site. Also considerable information is to be found on Gefrin.com, maintained and developed voluntarily for the trust by Brian Cosgrove as the main information point for the project. This allows the Gefrin Trust website to concentrate on reporting news, comments and decisions relevant to the Trust. The Trust organised the first Open Days at the site in June 2007. The main purpose, in the words of archaeologist Roger Miket, is simply to "create a presence for these two days and be on hand to meet and greet anyone who might wish to come to the site. We will also be there to demonstrate and explain how remote-sensing works, as well as carry out guided tours of the site. On the Sunday we are also offering a guided walk up Yeavering Bell."
