They range from exciting old buildings, like the Oude Kerk, to oddities including the Hash1. is amsterdam bigger than the usa?I would be embarrassed if I did not know that the city of Amsterdam was smaller than the US and was too lazy to look it up2. I would like to travel from amsterdam, to hongkong, to Bali, to Kuala Lumpur and back to amsterdam. possible?cover the sticker or take it off. shave, wear a clean shirt, be polite. no worries3. From Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Lima (Peru) by flight? The Air Europa route (AMS-Madrid-LIM) had a reasonable stopover in Madrid and was somewhat cheaper than the direct KLM flight. However, if you book sufficiently early, the difference may not be that much between the KLM and Air Europa flight.A reason to go for the more expensive KLM flight may be that the Air Europa flights seem to have a higher risk of being cancelled. My return trip in March 2012 was combined with two other Air Europa return flights (12h earlier and 24h earlier), impacting my holiday planning somewhat. If you have a scheduled trip in Peru, this might be impractical. With KLM you may have a smaller risk of this occurring. Given the price difference (when booking sufficiently early), I may personally opt for the direct flight next time4. in 2012 will non dutch passport holders still be able to smoke cannabis in amsterdam coffee shops?i cant tell you how much to save because airline tickets are gonna go up cause of oil5. What is the best way to travel to Amsterdam London and Paris? If your starting off in London, the chunnel would be a good way to get to Paris. Although, I would also check discount airline, such as ryanair and easy jet, because sometime (especially if you book in advance) you can get flights cheaper than train tickets. And from my experience, security etc. does not usually take that much time, especially when traveling via discount airlines. Same advice goes for Amsterdam. If you go Paris-Amsterdam, you can get there by train, but check airfare just in case. If you go back to London in between each mini-trip you could also look into a rail pass (raileurope.com); otherwise, visiting Paris and Amsterdam at the same time might be your best and cheapest option. No specific hotel advice. Just shop around for the best deals. I've been to all three places, and am jealous you will be there during the holidays!6. When is the best time to go to Amsterdam, Europe?Springtime was nice, a bit chilly but not too cold in Amsterdam. I do not live there but really enjoyed visiting last month. Italy was really nice in March as well. I went a couple of years ago. Fall seems like it would be a fun time to go as well. I would not go in summer as it seems like that's when it's most touristy. Much of Italy gets really hot and humid during the summer7. How did Amsterdam become so famous? It is the main seaport and many of the US people embarked from there. They also have peep shows8. Lycra Versus Cotton Ballet Tights...?
Lycra Versus Cotton Ballet Tights...?
I do not mean to confuse you, but even the cotton tights have Lycra (they are all blends of cotton & Lycra). Based on your question, I assume you are trying to differentiate between cotton/Lycra blends and nylon/Lycra blends. Since you are using it for ballet, I highly doubt you have cotton/Lycra because it's fairly heavy and feels like leggings material. Cotton also holds on to moisture like a sponge. You probaly have Supplex/Lycra, Tactel/Lycra, or generic nylon/Lycra. Supplex and Tactal are both nylon fabrics, but are brand-named with specific properties. Both Supplex and Tactel are very soft and smooth, and they both dry pretty quickly. Supplex has slightly more support and is more durable than Tactel.1. How is cotton candy made?Cotton candy is all sugar, and sugar melts. But, the heat, wind, and the cotton candy stick make the sugar turn to fluff. And that is what makes us eat it easier.2. Help! What is the name for the process of removing cotton from cotton fibre? If you mean removing cotton fiber from the cotton boll, it's called ginning4. eli whitney cotton gin?Invented in 1793. The machine quickly and easily separates the cotton fibers from the seedpods and the sometimes sticky seeds. It uses a combination of a wire screen and small wire hooks to pull the cotton through the screen, while brushes continuously remove the loose cotton lint to prevent jams. The traditional account of Whitney's invention of the gin tells of his being inspired by the sight of a cat clawing a chicken through the slatted walls of its coop and retrieving a paw full of feathers. There exists controversy over whether the idea of the cotton gin and its constituent elements can rightly be attributed to Eli Whitney; unresolved is whether or not Catherine Littlefield Greene should be credited with the invention of the cotton gin, or at least its inception. It is known that she associated with Eli Whitney (along with other historical figures such as George and Martha Washington). Additional credence is lent by the fact that women were not allowed patents in American antiquity. Small cotton gins were hand-powered; larger ones were harnessed to horses or water wheels. The cotton gin revolutionized the cotton-growing industry because it vastly increased the quantity of cotton that could be processed in a day. This made the widespread raising of cotton profitable in the American South, and is often considered to have greatly increased the demand for slave labor. The word gin in "cotton gin" is unrelated to the drink called gin; it is related to the word engine and means "device".5. what is modal cotton brief me?Modal is a cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees. It is about 50% more hygroscopic, or water-absorbent, per unit volume than cotton is. It is designed to dye just like cotton, and is color-fast when washed in warm water. Modal is essentially a variety of rayon.

Side doors on older homes were service doors. All deliveries were made there, everything from milk to coal (unless there was a coal chute). Also domestic workers and repair men were to use that door. Sometimes the family would use that door too, leaving the grander front entry clean and pristine for receiving guests. Here is an example of how important the concept of separate servantu2019s entrance was at one time. I run into one stubborn client once in all my years as a carpenter. He insisted on “saving“ money and, doing it himself. After he ruined the fifth door blank he finally hired me to do the job. He admitted he did not have the experience he thought he had. I watched another one, a guy hired to hang a door, he was using a pocket knife to hang a door blank. After four hours, I could not help it but, walked over to see what he was doing. I had to help the guy, he already made such a mess. It would be prohibitive Does anyone have pet doors installed on their entry door as well as their storm door? as long as the doors are light in weight the pup can push both of them Do you know of a good door lock cover for lever handle doors? They do make them. The link above has a great one, and that i feel that the company First Years (who makes quite a few security equipment) also manufactures these. I in finding their products at Toys R Us/ babies R Us, target, and Walmart. A different inspiration is to put in a latch at the high of the door where the youngster are not able to attain, or get a door alarm so you know when he's long gone out. The first Years also makes the door alarm, which simply sticks to the door with double-sided tape and rings when the seal between the 2 portions is damaged. We have one on the sliding patio door i have a 2005 jeep liberty that keeps dinging with the door a jar light but all doors are closed. Your door has become loose so the sensor does not think the door is shut. Its very dangerous to have loose doors, it could swing open and you can come flying out of the Jeep if you do not have a seat belt on. Please get that loose door fixed so you are safe!. Do dual pane vinyl/plastic windows provide a better burglar deterrent than glass, or are door locks always easier to prevail against anyway? Burglars intent on entering a property will do so regardless of deterrent. Typically they want to do it quietly. Glass breaking makes a noise and thatu2019s a good deterrent. Plastics can be melted with a blow-torch (not smart) and this is a relatively noise free method of entry compared with the breaking of a glass window. Modern double glazing creates great difficulty as the gas filled void between glass layers prevent too much deflection of the outer glass. The safety aspect of large glass areas means that it is tempered glass and therefore resistant to breakage. Many homes are fitted with ornate bars to the windows and a steel gate in front of doors. Okay if you like that sort of thing. Steel shutters are ugly and guarantee nobody is at home. The biggest problem anyone faces is ensuring all windows are closed when going out. Why someone doesnu2019t produce central locking for the home as they do for automobiles is beyond me. One click and all doors and windows close and are locked. What could be simpler?Do dual pane vinyl/plastic windows provide a better burglar deterrent than glass, or are door locks always easier to prevail against anyway? It took my son minutes to convert his over on his 95 cherokee.all he did was remove the lock nut on the bottom of the hinge pins.' Keep in mind.it may 'look cool', but it is very dangerous to drive that way-special 'open frame' tube doors are made for your safety. ALSO, in most states it is illegal to drive without doors! You will need to remount your mirrors-DMV laws state you must have the side mirrors. There are mirror conversion pins for the top hinges, or a remount bracket you mount using the same hinge bolts. If you really must go without the doors, then get extreme duty 5 point seatbelt harness.so there is no way you can be thrown out of the vehicle. How do i glue or put back in the inside door handle of a mustang ? Glueing handles is kinda iffy. It does not work that great if it does work. Remove the door panel. be sure to CAREFULLY disconnect any electrical components if any before removing. A few screws here and there, and plastic like snaps probably hold it on at the outside edges of the door panel on the inside. (They just pop out, if you break them you can buy packs of them at a parts store.) Once screws are removed and snaps are removed the panel should lift straight up and pop off. Chances are just one bolt will hold the handle to the latch. Go to autozone or whereever and buy a new handle for that particular side door and year Mustang and fix it for good What is a good garage door company in Minnesota? I had South Side Garage Door come out and they did a great job! They came out for a service call and I had to get new springs. The door has been working better than it ever has before. They also come out tear down the old door and put in a brand new one if you need a new door. They have good prices, and unlike other door companies, they are very trust worthy and do great work. I highly recommend them

Are There Any Cities in the Mainland U.S Where It Is Feasible to Live in the Rural Areas Around Town
Are there any cities in the mainland U.S where it is feasible to live in the rural areas around town, (aka own land) and commute into the city for work, either daily or when necessary?Yes. Yes every city in the United States except maybe Los Angeles, CA and San Diego, CA. (Well, probably anywhere in southern California because nobody wants to live there) You can live in the mountains of the Poconos on 25 acres and work every day in New York City. There are commuter buses that run hourly. You can work in downtown Chicago and take a train, or a 45-minute car ride, from any suburb. You can live on 100 acres on the rolling hills of Ohio and drive, comfortably, to Cleveland or Columbus or Cincinnati. I travel, a lot. 45 minutes outside almost any large city there are corn fields, wheat fields, pasture land, miles of forests and scrub land. There is the city. You drive for an hour through the high-rises and skyscrapers and then...there you are, 20-minutes later, you're in the middle of forests and pastureland. It so exciting! Las Vegas! OMG! You're driving through miles and miles of nothing. Beautiful desert country. And you see the city on the horizon. So, you drive for an hour. The city gets bigger and bigger and closer. And then you're in "the city that never sleeps." Denver, Co. 45-minutes outside the city there are elk on the mountainsides. It should be mandatory that everyone must travel before you can vote or get married or make any life changing decision (joke). If all you ever see is inner city New York City or Detroit or Dallas or Atlanta, how can you have any perspective on your life and other people's lives?— — — — — —What types of railroad crossings warning devices do you encounter in Urban areas? Is it a cost-effective way of improving broadband access in some rural areas? The biggest issue is probably backhaul capacity. In order to provide 3G swapping out the base station is probably not too significant but getting fibre to the base station might be a real challenge rurally. The common way to do backhaul (the connection from the base station back to the core network) in rural situations (or other areas challenging to fibre) is to use microwave links. Upgrading those microwave links from 2G capacity to 3G capacity might be difficult if they are far from the nearest fibre node or passing through hostile territory. It makes sense from the perspective of some communities to have 3/4G instead of, or as an intermediate step before, fibre. But I have never seen a public discussion about mobile broadband being an alternative becuase I think everyone is pushing for BT to meet the challenge. I would love to see Arqiva and the network operators cooperative on this but I do not know.Edit, taken from a recent article: Why Comrade Cameron went all Russell Brand on the UK's mobile networksnMobile coverage reaches 98 per cent of the population - but around a fifth of the landmass is without a signal. Some of the operator's own estimates put the cost of bridging the gap between u00a32bn and u00a34bn - and there aren't enough people in those rural notspots to justify the investment. What are the costs associated with upgrading a mobile mast/base station from 2G to 3G in the UK? And you probably complain too much as in too stuffy or too less technology or no tv or bathroom something like that and you know how people who live in small places say its a small world? It means they usually all know each other but since your new and you do not really know them and you dont want to, they think your angry. Its not much, its just our attitude difference in rural areas and urban areas, its just different styles and thinking.

Early Life, Junior Football and State-league Football
Early life, junior football and state-league footballLloyd grew up on a farm outside Deniliquin, in the Riverina region of New South Wales. A talented junior sportsman, he played both football and soccer. Given the long trips to and from the local towns sports facilities, his parents asked Sam and brother Jack to choose a single sport. Jack's preference won out by a tie-breaking coin toss and Sam never played a soccer match thereafter. Following his first year of high-school Lloyd moved to Corio, Victoria to attend Geelong Grammar School. He played 23 top level matches in his final three years at the school. He was the school's leading goalkicker in his Year 11 and captained the team in his final year. Outside of school Lloyd was also a member of the Geelong Falcons squad but did not manage to play a match due to injury concerns. He went on to play country league football and in 2010 while playing with Deniliquin in the Murray Football League, he kicked more than 100 goals for the season. Included in the total were individual match hauls of 12, 11 and 10 goals against Echuca, Congupna and Rumbalara. He remained with the club the following season and was a member of the premiership winning side. In 2012 Lloyd played club football at Mt Eliza, then VFL football at the Bendigo Football Club. In 2013 he relocated again, to take up a role at Frankston Football Club in the VFL. She was a member of the Creekers North East division premiership team in 2006 and won the club's best and fairest award that same season. That season, she also received the leagues' best first year player award. She repeated the result in 2012, with a second premiership and second club best and fairest. She kicked three goals in the winning grand final. Chiocci placed second in the league's best and fairest award at the conclusion of the 2009 season. She has captained the club since the 2014 season. In 2010, Chiocci was one of forty players to participate in the women's AFL high-performance camp. She later played in the first women's exhibition match in June 2013. She was retained by the club and played in exhibition matches in each year through to the end of 2016. She captained the side in 2015 and 2016 including in the women's all-star match in September 2016.
