The county truthful. there became this tiny dragon element that went in a circle some circumstances and there became one "hill" I went back to it some years in the past and the optimal area of that hill became suitable above my head. Are the general locations of all the US carrier strike groups publicly disclosed?Yes, you can look up the general areas of operations for all the naval fleets. By following the news you can ascertain the general location of a fleet at any given time. Knowing the location of our fleets wo not help you figure out how close we are to the big one. For instance, the fleet which responded to the Japanese earthquakes was in the news and the fleet which was used to fly missions into Libya was publicized. That does not tell you anything other than which fleet is responsible for those areas. It's like telling you the 5th Marines are at Camp Leatherneck, we know Marines are at Camp Leatherneck, knowing which ones does not add anything. BoatsBM1 tells you we have two carriers in the 5th fleet area. Of course we have two carriers in the 5th fleet area, it is based in Bahrain, the Indian Ocean where we are supprting what is going on in Iraq, Afghanistan, and defending against pirates. It does not tell you anything you do not already know.2. How Do I Make A Wet Canvas PAPER Carrier?I have had canvas paper which very slick and the paint slipped around on it. I prefer a surface which grabs the brush and paint3. how much will a adult bicycle, bike carrier, and the lock cost in total? You could buy a bike at a garage sale for $40, $20 for the lock. Put the bike inside the car. Used carriers are not that common. Or you could leave the car home and ride all the way.4. I need a baby carrier for my 28 lb 2 yr old?Comfy Baby Sling Carrier may fit your need. Read below info before going to purchase so you do not have to waste your time5. Would an aircraft carrier be obsolete or useful if a major world war started today?A carrier would be very valuable. The neat thing about a carrier is it is a great way to get an 'airfield' closer to the target. Face it, if your nearest land base is say, 2000 miles to the target area, it will cost a lot of time and fuel to get weapons onto that target. Once I get a carrier in the area, or like we did in Vietnam, get three of them in the area, we can drop bombs on the targets 24/7. It was really only an hour and a half trip to the target areas, all day long. Each carrier in the Tonkin Gulf could launch and recover 10-12 bombing events a day. To do that from a South Vietnam air base, we would first have to build the base. It's a LOT faster and cheaper to move the carrier over there than it is to build a base and get it operational6. brand new baby carrier.. get new smell out...?try washing it on the gentle cycle then line dry or just put it in the dryer with one of those moist dryer sheets on low heat7. Was England the biggest aircraft carrier ever, so essential to the Allied victory?-this anwer is actually a reaction to another but I think it works well enough (it Ai not hostile to the reader just a 5yr old who does not quite grasp WW2 yet)A nation that fought in every theatre stood along against the axis and crushed the Italian and German navies. A nation that beat back Japans imperial advances winning major battles in the Burma campaign. A nation that build over half of the tanks that were fielded in the battle of Moscow and continued to supply the Soviet Union through its darkest days with the North Sea convoys. Britain was pivotal to the war not many know that 1/3 of all of the navalforces at the battle of okinawa were British. Name a front the British empire did not fight on YOU CANT! Britain beat back the axis in all theatres and waged a war against the greatest threat to democracy and socialism Alone! Without the Royal Navy the arctic would have been ruled by U-boats. No American support could ever reach Europe. It was written by many of the same authors who develop MINIX, at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. The acronym reputedly stands for VU Minix Distribution.According to its authors, Minix-vmd was created to meet specific needs they had, rather than to be a general purpose use OS like Linux. It also does not share the educational goals of MINIX.Nevertheless, the OS may have been of interest to others for various purposes, due to its small resource use compared with other operating systems, and other factors. However, MINIX 3 incorporated Minix-vmd's functions.------Early life of amsterdamBorn in Noordwijk on 24 December 1869, Roland Holst was brought up in the affluent, liberal Christian family of the notary Theodore Willem van der Schalk and Anna Ida van der Schalk-van der Hoeven. Do You Wish Your Eyes Doubled As Flashlights?
Would you still be able to see when you are using the flashlight feature?1. Do flashlights hurt cat's eyes?"Do flashlights hurt cat's eyes?"Actually far worse for a puddy, since their eyes are far more sensitive to light than hoomans. They have 6-8 times more rods in their eyes to see better in low light. They also have a layer of cells, tapetum lucidum, under the retina that reflects light back again to maximize the amount that reaches the optic sensors. This layer is what makes their eyes glow green with light flash. Some cats, like many Siamese do not have a tapetum, so their eyes flash red like humans, who also do not have it."A cat's eyes glow thanks to its tapetum lucidum. . .. A large number of animals have the tapetum lucidum, including deer, dogs, cats, cattle, horses and ferrets. Humans do not , and neither do some other primates. Pregnant mare was bagging up yesterday, now she isn't?I have seen this in maiden mares. You did not say how far into her gestation period she is. I actually have an older mare who is ALWAYS bagged up, whether she is pregnant or not if there is any foal on our premises!. It does not do anything to cause her discomfort, my vet is not concerned. My youngest mare when a maiden mare did the same thing you are describing, but not until she was 2/3 of the way through her gestation cycle. As far as birthing and raising foals; I have found that generally mares pretty much do all the work, with little help from us! In fact, I have only caught one foaling in progress, even when monitoring with cameras. I have also found, that the gestation period can vary greatly, and that if stressed, a mare can actually stop her labor! When I was just starting out, and had my first foal (actually my mare did) I got so excited, when I thought she was about to foal, that both my husband and I went out with flashlights and my digital camera, and video camera. To her, it was like a night thick with predators, and lightening! She just stopped! My friend, who knew what was going on just laughed. I learned never to make a big production around birthing horses. It can actually make them stop their own labor! In fact, a horse can extend its gestation period to nearly 12 months on occasions. This comes from the horse being a prey animal. In the wild, if they sense there is danger around, they stop their labor until it is safe. I would say, if she has bagged up at all, she probably "took" when she was in with the stallion. I would have a veterinarian come out and verify that she is with foal, and give you an estimation of how far along in gestation she is. It is always a good idea to get a vet to take a look at a maiden mare, or any mare for that matter that we think is in foal. I had one occasion that we lost a foal. I would have never known, had I not had the vet out about three weeks after she was bred. We never found the foal. I imagine that predators took off with it rather quickly, as there are coyotes in our area, along with dogs, and some smallish wildcats. We found (via the vet) that there was a specific tree in our pasture that was loaded with a parasite/worm that actually caused her to abort when she ingested the grass around the tree and took in the parasite along with the grass. Only a vet can tell you if there are special precautions you need to take in your situation such as this. I certainly never would have guessed that a worm/parasite falling from a tree could cause an abortion. It is much better to be safe, than sorry when dealing with a pregnant mare, especially a maiden mare.
Secret Candlestick Switch
Secret Candlestick Switch
There are a lot of different kinds of secret compartments that you could implement. You can find a a number of great examples on the Instructables collection: Secret Doors, Drawers & Compartments. You can use a regular door and disguise it to look like something else. You can make a whole bookshelf that rotates. You can create false walls. The possibilities are endless so use your imagination. Pictures above are from: Stryker @ Goose @ flaming_pele! @ secret compartments are held closed with some kind of latch. A door latch works well for this kind of application because it is fairly sturdy and reasonably easy to install. I recommend using a simple latch without any locks like the kind used for closets because they are a little easier to work with. So that will be the primary latch that we use in this project. But you can also use other kinds of latches such as cabinet latches, window latches or even fence latches. However if you use one of these, then you may need to modify you construction methods a little. The simplest way to activate a door latch with a candle stick is to justreplace one of the door knobs with the candlestick. To do this, you will probably need to either modify or replace the spindle (the bar that connects the two door knobs to the latch). You will also need to make some kind of bracket to connect the spindle to the candlestick. Most door knob spindles will be too long to mount the candlestick flush against the wall. So you can either cut it shorter, or you can just replace it. For prototyping, I replaced the spindle with a 1/4 inch square wooden dowel. However, I highly recommend using steel in your finished product. Turning a door knob involves a lot of torque, and a wooden dowel will wear out quickly. To attach the spindle to the candlestick, I made a small bracket out of a scrap piece of sheet metal. I traced the spindle onto the center of the metal. Then I cut an X across across opposite corners of the square. Then I bent the sides down to create a square opening that the dowel could be pressed through. You will probably also need to add a screw and washer to the back side to help keep the candlestick mounted to the dowel. Once you have your new spindle mounted to the candlestick, you can insert it through the latch and into the other door knob. You can then use the candlestick to open the latch just like a regular door knob. You can easily mount the latch and candlestick in a standard door that is covered or disguised (although you may wish to mount them higher on the door to be at a more reasonable height for a candlestick). Alternatively, you can mount the latch and candlestick to the wall next to the door and place the strike plate on the door. It should work the same. You will just need to have a separate handle so that you be able to pull the door open.It is not always convenient to mount a candlestick on or immediately next to your secret door. If this is the case, you can connect the candlestick to the latch with cables. To do this, you will need some steel wire and a pair of brackets to attach the wire to the spindles. You can make these brackets the same way that you did for connecting the spindle to the candlestick. Cut an X in a piece of sheet metal, bend the tabs out slightly and press the spindle through the center. Then drill a small hole in the metal that is a little bit larger than the wire. This is where we will attach the wire to the bracket. Orient the brackets so that when the candlestick bracket is turned clockwise, the wire will turn the second bracket clockwise as well(see the picture above). Feed the wires through the holes and bend them down into a hook so that they will not come loose when they are pulled on by the brackets. After mounting the candlestick onto the second spindle bar, you should be able to activate the latch. Just turn the candlestick. This turns the spindle, which turns the brackets, which pulls on the cable, which turns the first bracket, which turns the first spindles which finally activates the latch. A simple setup like this will let you position the candlestick a short distance away from the latch and still be able to activate it mechanically. However, this process is greatly complicated if you need to run the cable through studs. So choose your locations carefully. You can also use a candlestick to activate an electrical circuit. All you have to do is mount an electrical switch to the wall behind the candlestick. You can then wire the switch up to a motor that will open your secret compartment. You can even make the motor turn in both directions by using one DPDT switch or two SPDT switches. To activate the switches, I made another bracket for the candlestick. This one just had a flat piece that was bent out and fit between the buttons. When the candle stick was turned one direction, it would press the first switch. When it was turned the other direction, it would press the second switch. To help avoid shorting the wires on the metal candlestick, I applied a piece of masking tape over the switches and wires. Then I cut a slit in the tape so that the bracket could still press the two buttons. Lastly, I ran the wires from the switches to the power supply and to the motor. This setup will let you activate a wide variety of circuits by slightly turning the candlestick. It can be something small like a car door lock motor or something large like a garage door opener. Use your imagination and have fun.

but it seems the company has disappeared and you can only get it from other sites such as Canadian Content. It works on Windows 7 and due to the nature of the OSes, the same program does not run on Linux (it would need to be a different program of the same company maybe). It is available free of charge:Registration via email is optional, just uncheck the box at the end of the installation. It can monitor the Registry and the files changed during an installation. It does so by generating a snapshot before and after the installation. Disadvantages:I am not allowed to suggest programs I have no personal experience with, but you could google for "alternatives to InstallWatch" in order to find up-to-date versions with similar capabilities1. Drawing software for amateursKrita is an open source drawing application available for Windows, Mac and Linux. It features:It lacks a one-step option to clear the image:One caveat I should raise is that it is intended to support Digital Painters and, as such it's interface is rich enough to support complex workflows; much of it is not required by a light user.Less demanding users could hide all of the dockable panels (called "Dockers") except "Tool Options" and "Layers" and have a very productive and minimalist interface. Note right-clicking on the canvas will open a pop-up menu that allows brush and/or colour selection (shown below). It has full tablet support if you have one available but has plenty of pens/tools that do not require one if not.It has quiet good documentation including tutorials and a wiki manual.2. Character Relationship Mapping SoftwareI've used MindMeister.com for my story, and so far I have 17 characters connected in various ways. I personally use different colors for the type of connections/relations between the characters; Family=Green lines, Friends=Blue lines, and so on. IT'S FREE To my knowledge, it's only available as apps for mobile devices and as an online-version for pc and mac (do not know about Linux and other systems, but I assume it works there too. ) You can export PDFs of your 'maps' which is a nice feature I've used quite a bit5. Is "Public Domain Software" the same thing as "Open Source Software"?No, and it's not an opinion, it's a fact! Public domain means that the software is freely available to anyone to anything whatsoever with it. You can copy it, change it, claim it's your own, embed it in your devices, sell it, whatever! Open source has very specific licence requirements, which vary according to the licence. In general, you must make the source available, you may not sell it and you must retain copyright notices. Sometimes you have to share your own program if you use open source, and your progeam then becomes opensource (that's the GPL licence)6. What is a good editing software?look for Magix Video Deluxe 2.0 easy to use, user friendly interface! simply good!7. Video Editing Software That Zooms In?Sony Vegas is a steal at $45. It is fast and responsive even on older systems with low specs. It is the most stable of all the consumer level editors. It does "Ken Burns" effects on slideshows (automated zooming and panning). AND it will let you zoom or pan in a movie frame. It is the hands down best choice for consumer level video editing. They offer a free demo trial download. Give it a shot, and if the zoom instructions in HELP are not clear enough, here is a shot at explaining how to do it: Drop your clip on a timeline. Click on Track Motion. Click on Maintain Aspect Ratio. Click on Scale About Centre. Grab a corner and pull. if you want to reframe on a zoomed area, grab somewhere int he box and move it. If you screw it up, right-click and select Restore Box.8. Is there software for automating logic design?you can do what you are suggesting in VHDL or Verilog and you can get free and comprehensive development software to try from their website. I would personally recommend Altera's Quartus as the friendliest of them to try as a newcomer but they are all pretty straightforward once you've learnt a few basics. You can essentially Lego together existing logic blocks, although that naturally only gives you the functions that are already designed and available. I can not speak for Verilog but VHDL already has levels of abstraction away from logic gates so just designing in VHDL gives you some of what you describe. You obviously need to specify your design exactly so you would need to understand VHDL/Verilog well. You have not described your experience so far or detailed your expectations for the design software you would imagined, so it's hard to advise you further.

What is the meaning of "Full-Service Carrier" in airline terminology?Short-haul journeys can often be made on two types of airlines: full service carriers or low-cost carriers. The full service carriers, such asBritish Airways provide a reliable, professional and comfortable service with staff that do actually care about their customers. Low-cost carriers, on the other hand, sacrifice much of this in order to provide you with a cheaper flight. Is it worth paying for the extra service?Yes! Full Service is better! If things go wrong (delays, lost baggage etc), there is a customer service department that will generally help and compensate you for inconvenience. No frills airlines offer very limited customer services involving either expensive phone lines or impersonal e-mails (if you are lucky enough to get a response). If a flight gets cancelled, full service airlines can use their alliance partners to help get passengers home. For example, passengers on a cancelled BA flight from New York can be re-booked onto an American Airlines flight to get home sooner than the next BA flight. Low-cost carriers do not have partner airlines to do this, if they cancel a flight you could be stranded for days - this DOES happen!Your low cost flight quickly becomes more expensive when adding on all of the hidden extras such as checked-in baggage charges, in-flight entertainment, food and drink. See our tips below on how to make sure you get the cheapest price for your flights. No frills carriers often use airports with cheaper fees that are further from the city centre. The extra time and cost to get into the city may not be worth the money saved on the flight. Do not be fooled by airport names, make sure you know exactly where you are flying to!Low cost flights are so cheap partly because the airline pays less for airport landing slots that are at unsociable hours (early morning or late evening). Full service carriers generally operate more frequent flights throughout the day, so you can choose the time that suits you best. No! Low Cost is better! Some European flights are so short that sacrificing comfort, in-flight entertainment and food is simply not a big deal.No frills airlines do sometimes use the same airport as the full service carriers - check this by looking for the exact name of the airport or 3-letter IATA airport code. For example, both BA and Easyjet fly to Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD).Low-cost carriers operate the same types of aircraft as the full service carriers and are subject to the same strict rules on maintenance - safety is certainly not sacrificed.Major problems such as cancellations are infrequent enough that for cost-conscious leisure travellers it's probably worth the small risk of being stranded for a much cheaper flight. You should always have travel insurance anyway, that should cover you for the costs of getting home or at least compensate you in the event of a cancelled flight - check your policy.Comparing the CostsOf course, choosing between full service and low cost carriers is likely to come down to the complete package of quality, service, and price. It's a trade-off, for example: 'shall I fly Easyjet to Madrid or pay an extra twenty quid to go BA?' - how much the extra service and quality is worth is up to you. But first, make sure you are comparing like with like. Low cost carriers have a habit of sneaking up on you with hidden extra charges that you probably did not consider when choosing which flight to book. Here is a list of things that low cost carriers charge for:Paying for your flight - ridiculous as it seems, Ryanair only offer one free payment method, the obscure prepaid MastercardChecking in - you have to check in, right? Right. And Ryanair charge you for the pleasure. Checked-in baggage - low cost carriers charge for checking in hold bags, which increases with weightBoarding first - pay to avoid the scrum for seats, which contrasts with the civilised pre-allocated seating on full service carriersFood and drink - onboard prices can be astronomical so either bring your own or choose to fly full serviceIn-flight entertainment - some airlines offer paid-for films and TV; on longer flights this is an important considerationOn board amenities - pillows, headphones etc, and Ryanair are even planning to charge for using the toilet! To illustrate the cost comparison, BA has an insightful value calculator that shows how extra costs can rack up.In conclusion, flying with full service carriers is worth paying extra to an extent, but by how much depends on circumstances and personal preferences. Consider the issues raised above when deciding how much extra you are willing to pay to go with the likes of BA instead of Easyjet & co, and try to weigh up all of the costs involved - that low cost carrier fare is always missing an extra charge or two. ..or tWhat is the meaning of "Full-Service Carrier" in airline terminology?3. Would it be possible to buy a decommissioned aircraft carrier and convert it into a house?Do you realize how HUGE an aircraft carrier is?Let's start with the USS Enterprise (it's "available"). It's over 1,000 long and 132 at the water line and 257 wide at its widest.I can not find quickly the size of its hanger deck, but it's a majority of that size. So you could easily have a dining room that's close to 1000 long and 200 wide. So, I do not think there's much need to remove sections. The hanger deck itself should be big enough. That said, no one is selling let alone moving something that big inland

This Paper Analyzes the Performance and Characteristics of End Connection Mode of Three-phase Single
Type of three-phase single-layer windingSingle layer is a winding with only one effective side of the coil embedded in each stator slot, so its total number of coils is only half of the total number of slots of the motor. The advantages of single-layer winding are convenient wire embedding and high slot utilization. The disadvantages are that the selection of pitch is limited and the electromagnetic performance of motor is not ideal. It is mostly used in small and medium-sized motors. The stator winding is divided into two types: explicit pole type and implicit pole type.(1) The two pole phase groups with the same phase span in two adjacent pole planes are connected by "head joint" and "tail to tail", which is called pole display winding. In the pole explicit winding, each pole phase group forms a magnetic pole, and the number of pole phase groups of each phase winding is equal to the number of magnetic poles. In other words, there are several pole phase groups in the pole display winding, and the motor is a motor with several poles. Figure 5-8 shows the schematic diagram of one phase of 4-pole explicit winding. In the explicit pole winding, in order to make the polarity N and s of the magnetic poles separated from each other, the current direction in the two adjacent pole phase groups is opposite, but the current direction in the effective side of the two adjacent coils is the same.(2) Hidden pole (common pole) winding is called hidden pole winding, as shown in Figure 5-9. The two pole phase groups in the same phase in two non adjacent pole surfaces are connected by "head to tail" and "tail joint". In the hidden pole winding, each pole phase group forms two magnetic poles, the number of pole phase groups of the winding is half of the number of magnetic poles, and the other half of the magnetic poles are formed by the magnetic flux generated by the pole phase group. That is to say, in the motor with hidden pole winding, the number of poles is twice the number of pole phase groups of each phase winding.Figure 5-8 pole display windingFigure 5-9 hidden pole windingIn the hidden pole winding, the polarity of the magnetic pole formed by each pole phase group is the same, and the current direction of all pole phase groups is the same.Hidden pole winding is mostly used in old motors and has been eliminated now. Modern motors are only used in the windings of two speed motors, and there is only one set of stator windings of two speed motors. The wire embedding method is the same as that of single speed motors. The difference is that the purpose of variable speed is achieved by changing the number of poles (i.e. changing the mode of displaying and hiding poles).Form of three-phase single-layer windingAccording to different winding shapes, single-layer winding is divided into chain type, concentric type and cross type.(1) Chain winding chain winding is composed of single-layer coil elements with the same shape and pitch. It is named because each coil at the winding end looks like a sleeved chain link. Figure 5-10 shows the pitch of three-phase 24 slot 4-pole single-layer chain winding.Single layer chain winding is convenient for winding due to equal pitch. When making chain arrangement, there are many cross connections at the end, and it is difficult to shape the end.Figure 5-10 pitch of three-phase 24 slot 4-pole single layer chain windingâ–³ note: the coil pitch of single-layer chain winding must be odd, otherwise the winding will not be arranged.(2) Cross winding cross winding is formed by the cross arrangement of two winding elements with different pitch, one large and one small. Its characteristic is that although the winding of elements is not as convenient as chain winding, short pitch winding can be used, which is conducive to improving the performance of motor. Figure 5-11 shows the expanded view of three-phase 36 slot 4-pole single-layer cross winding (phase a).Figure 5-11 three phase 36 slot 4-pole single layer cross chain winding (phase a)(3) Concentric winding concentric winding is composed of two coils with different pitch in the same polar phase group. It is named because all coils in the polar phase group surround the same center. Concentric winding is characterized by different pitch sizes of elements in the same polar phase group. Several molds of different sizes are required during winding, but several elements are placed concentrically, and the end connections do not cross each other, which is easy to be arranged neatly. Figure 5-12 shows the expanded view of 24 slot 2-pole single-layer concentric winding.Fig. 5-12 expanded view of 24 slot 2-pole single layer concentric winding a) A-phase winding b) three-phase windingPerformance and characteristics of end connection mode of three-phase single-layer winding1. Equal width type (stacked type)The coils are equidistant, the pitch of all coils is the same, and the wire mold is easy to adjust; The coil pitch is shorter than the pole pitch (whole pitch), which saves wire; The number of coils of single-layer winding is small, and embedding wire saves time, but the electrical performance is poor.2. ConcentricThe winding is single-layer wiring with high slot filling rate; The average value of coil pitch is equidistant, the length of winding end is large, the wire is consumed, the magnetic flux leakage is large, and the electrical performance is poor; Layered wire embedding can be used to form "double plane" or "three plane" windings, which makes wire embedding convenient and is mostly suitable for two pole motors.3. Cross typeThe winding is full pitch, but the average pitch of the coil is short, so the wire is saved; The number and pitch of each group of coils are different, which increases the difficulty of wire embedding process; High tank filling rate and poor electrical performance. In addition, the end connection mode can also be concentric cross type, that is, two coils with equal width can be changed into concentric type.4. End connection mode of three-phase single-layer 4-pole 36 slot windingAccording to the three-phase 4-pole 36 slots, the number of slots per pole of the winding is q = 3. There may be three end connection modes, which are depicted in figures (a), (b) and (c), and only one phase is connected.(a) Equal width type (chain type)(b) Concentric(c) Cross typeIn practice, the choice of end connection mode is not considered by the repairman, but only by the designer. For the repairman, under normal circumstances, the original design data is an important basis for rewinding the motor and cannot be changed.5. End connection mode of three-phase single-layer 4-pole 24 slot windingAccording to the two basic parameters of three-phase 4-pole 24 slots, it can be calculated that the number of slots per pole = 2. According to its regular arrangement, there are three end connection modes, as shown in the figure below.(a) Equal width (stacked)(b) Concentric(c) Single chainIn short, the above single-layer winding types have the advantages of high slot utilization, less phase to phase short circuit, less number of coils, less wire embedding time and so on. They are widely used in small motors. In common Y series motors, single-layer laminated winding is used for 4, 6 and 8-pole motors with q = 2; Single layer cross winding is used for 2 and 4-pole motors with q = 3; Concentric windings are used for 2-pole motors with q = 4. These winding types are often seen in daily repair work. In addition, due to the limited structure of single-layer winding, its winding end is thick and difficult to shape, so it is impossible to use appropriate short distance to improve the electromagnetic performance of winding, which is the reason for the poor performance of single-layer winding motor.
