5 Positive Changes to Your Body Through Cycling
5 Positive Changes to Your Body Through Cycling
Although it may not seem like it after the particularly strong episode of saddle aching, your body adores cycling, and it is true. There are 5 ways by which cycling alters your body for the best, think if youve observed any of those signs. All normal cyclists have the advantage of burning fat and fortifying muscles on their travels on disc brake road wheels, the result of which is better muscle sharpness. It seems rational that an action that keeps the legs in steady motion tone them up sooner, but really youre as likely to observe improved clarity through the core, which keeps you balanced, and in your arms since they support against the handlebars. These results tend to be articulated in off-road cyclo-cross or MTB riders when the land requires a superior stage of maneuverability, and road riders that scale hills frequently.Additional padding is a good mode. When you begin cycling, kiss off your fine soft feet, hands, and buttocks goodbye. These major points of contact with the bicycle become calloused over moments, and when there are mitigating bar tape, saddles, and padded shorts accessible to perk up comfort, this hardening is a normal consequence of miles on thev mountain bike wheels eBay. Once your hands, feet and back are broken in, its easier to cope with the vibration through the bike. Riding provides you a huge cardiovascular exercise, and your heart has to work more to deal with cycling longer miles, higher paces and more demanding courses. Adapting to those stipulations assists the heart grow tougher, and if maintained, can really decrease the danger of heart disease and lower the heart rate. A tougher heart benefits you as youre in the saddle, it makes daily activities like taking the stairways easier and usually develops energy ranks.Skinny jeans are not a comrade of the cyclist. As the redundant bulk shifts from the bum and waist, your quads double in dimension, calves become too sinewy and lean jeans no longer do justice. Legs and buttocks of steel add shape to your thin physique and explanation to your bigger frame. You must demonstrate them off with delight. Quicker reflexes and improved harmonization comes from cycling on mountain bike wheels and it becomes your second nature and muscles learn to minimize the power required to poise, respond to hazards, bend efficiently and power up mountains
Breaking Down IGo3Ds Decision to Use DigiFabsters 3D Printing Management Software
Breaking Down IGo3Ds Decision to Use DigiFabsters 3D Printing Management Software
Breaking Down iGo3D’s Decision to Use DigiFabster’s 3D Printing Management SoftwareThe software-as-a-service company's 3D printing management software provides a cloud-based CRM and instant quotation solution, which allows its hundreds of 3D printing customers to build conversion rates and increase revenue. This empowers clients to turn leads into paying customers, while also helping them seamlessly manage order flow.DigiFabster is currently working with iGo3D, a German reseller of 3D printing equipment, accessories, software, and consumables. iGo3D is using DigiFabster's software to automate its sample request process and better serve its clients.John Hauer, the CEO of consultancy Get3DSmart, tells 3DPrint.com, "Essentially what DigiFabster is doing in this case, is allowing a reseller of 3D printing equipment to be more efficient in how they produce sample models, which in turn helps them compress sales cycles and sell 3D printing equipment more quickly and efficiently. "That's entirely different than the usual scenario where they help service bureaus manage quotes and orders."A little background — iGo3D was Germany's first 3D printing equipment provider to open a retail store. After starting out selling 3D printers directly to customers through the store and online, the company realized it could help other German companies sell 3D printing products, so it expanded and started to build up a reseller network. iGo3D kept growing, and opened a new business unit last year called Additive Manufacturing Solutions (AMS), which is also a common brand with Grupo Sicnova 3D. AMS helps larger organizations and companies achieve their goals in specific markets with additive manufacturing. "This is a lot of work while trying to juggle multiple clients and resellers, which is why iGo3D called on DigiFabster. Its software tools help iGo3D accept sample requests online, putting them in a job management queue so the company can make sure every job is completed and returned on time. This saves iGo3D and its customers time and labor — the company can focus on the more important tasks, like producing and shipping samples, and let DigiFabster's software take care of receiving, inspecting, fixing, and writing up orders. "It seems every day more new companies are entering the 3D printing space, and basically there are four places to make a play — equipment, materials, software and services. As new equipment providers enter the scene, they have to make a choice. They can try to sell direct or work through resellers. Most have decided to work with resellers in one form or another. While some resellers have expertise in 3D printing, many are joining the fray because they already have customers and expertise in specific markets and want to expand their offerings," Hauer told 3DPrint.com"The challenge resellers face however, is that often they do not have the additive manufacturing industry and product expertise they need to validate the solutions they are selling. One big example has to do with making samples. Whether you are selling copiers or 3D printers, buyers want to see output. Not just demo files that are fine tuned for specific machines, but real live applications that customers are planning to produce with the equipment they are considering. "This creates a big problem for resellers in that many from outside the industry do not have a team of industrial designers who can review CAD files and make the necessary fixes needed for optimal output. Further, they do not have workflow processes in place to manage the onslaught of file requests. As a result, they sometimes end up delivering an inferior product and do not provide the turn time needed to keep sales cycles on track. "According to John Hauer, who is highly familiar with the 3D printing industry, other large resellers that do not have the industrial design skills to receive and process sample files have had similar issues in needing to prove to potential customers that their solutions work, or risk losing a sale."DigiFabster's core customers are service bureaus who intend to profit from every job they sell. They need the ability to quote online and manage orders automatically. Like everywhere else, eCommerce has the ability to save them time and money while simultaneously helping them generate new revenue. But for equipment resellers the stakes might even be higher. If they do not manage the sampling process effectively, all the money they spend in marketing and sales is likely wasted. To close the deal, you simply must be able to prove your solution," Hauer tells us."Therefore, what DigiFabster is doing with IGo3D is a completely different use case. IGo3D is using the software to automatically fix the files they receive, reducing the labor and expertise needed to make them 'print-ready. ' They are also using the software's order management capabilities to track requests and improve turn time. The end result is better quality samples, delivered more quickly. Instead of dreading the thought of producing them, iGo3D can leverage sampling as a unique competitive advantage. ""Further they are 'eating their own dog food.' Many customers are looking to monetize their investment in 3D printing equipment. Resellers who use workflow software as part of their own sales process are in a unique position to understand its benefits and share them with their clients. That's the definition of value add. They are not just trying to move boxes, they are able to offer a comprehensive solution that involves products, services, and expertise."iGo3D is not the only company looking to save on time and money while improving the customer experience — other 3D printing equipment providers and service bureaus are learning that software like DigiFabster's can give them a leg up over the competition.Originally published at 3dprint.com on March 20, 2018
Incorporating P-Modeling Framework into Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Incorporating P-Modeling Framework into Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Incorporating P-Modeling Framework into Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Regardless of what type of development process is used in an organization; waterfall, spiral, various iterative-incremental or some others, there are certain processes, such as software design, quality control, human resources management, risk management, communication management, etc. to which can P-Modeling Framework principles can be applied, especially in the earlier stages of a project when quality control activities are either minor or (virtually) absent— — — — — —Software development processIn software engineering, a software development process is the process of dividing software development work into distinct phases to improve design, product management, and project management. It is also known as a software development life cycle (SDLC). The methodology may include the pre-definition of specific deliverables and artifacts that are created and completed by a project team to develop or maintain an application. Most modern development processes can be vaguely described as agile. Other methodologies include waterfall, prototyping, iterative and incremental development, spiral development, rapid application development, and extreme programming. Some[who?] consider a life-cycle "model" a more general term for a category of methodologies and a software development "process" a more specific term to refer to a specific process chosen by a specific organization. For example, there are many specific software development processes that fit the spiral life-cycle model. The field is often considered a subset of the systems development life cycle.— — — — — —Software development management for small disconnected teamYou can setup one of the free issue tracking systems available on the web. Bugzilla and Trac are probably the most popular free systems. On the plus side they have task categorization and support email alerts, but they require some effort to setup and maintain. These systems are designed primarily for programmers and helpdesk employees and integrate well with popular development software. This means that the programmers will probably find it easy to use, while it may not be entirely suited for the project manager. If you want free software that focuses more on project management take a look at the project management software listed on Wiki (Note: list contains both commercial and free software). Unfortunatly, I have no experience with this so I cannot recommend anything. The simplest solution may be to convert your Excel spreadsheet to a Google documents spreadsheet. This is free, web-based, simple to adapt and allows you to track changes to the spreadsheet. You can also send an email to all the document's collaborators, but you have to do that manually.— — — — — —First x86 Software Development ManualIt started out as a single manual covering hard and software, theThe 8086 Family User's Manual. Before that there were only data sheets and manuals about single components, software tools and development boards as well as premade components (iSBC computer boards) (*1).After that it became the iAPX 86,88 User's Manual. The 80286 manuals (*2) were the first to add specific software writing (*3) manuals with the 1983 manuals:iAPX 286 Programmer's Reference Manual iAPX 286 Operating Systems Writer's guide*1 - At that point it's important to keep in mind, that despite the 8086 being introduced in August 1978, documentation beside data sheets did not show up until the 1979 data books.*2 - Well, that and the 186 manuals of the same time.*3 - There have been others before on the topic of software related items, like the 80130/150 Operating System Processors, but they are strictly about application of their embedded software blocks.— — — — — —What are the worst false economies in software development? [closed]Long feedback loops! It happens to everybody: you build something that you think is awesome, and it turns out you were wrong. That is not the problem. The problem is how long you spend building before finding out that you should stop.At the high level, you see this problem with long release cycles. If you build for a year without feedback, you are gambling the whole year. The more often you release, the smaller your gambles, and the better you get at gambling. But it also happens at the lowest levels. As a developer, I really like frequent code reviews (or, better, pair programming) because it limits the amount of time I can continue doing something dumb before somebody says, "Hey, there's a simpler way!" For the same reason, I like my unit tests to run quickly and frequently, so I can catch and kill bugs before they grow. Once you start noticing the importance of short feedback loops, you will see it everywhere. E.g., the military notion of the OODA loop
